I'm not a strong back tumbler; is a roundoff a flight element on floor? (particularly for xcel gold)

I think it's so interesting how different gymnasts have different strengths! My DD is not a great front tumbler, but is very comfortable with back. But now that she's starting to learn twisting (on trampoline of course) she's a much better front twister than back...good luck to all! As a parent, I love hearing from the gymnasts' points of view. There are some very mature and informative teens on this forum :)

Yes, it is. My friends do FHS RO, rather than front tuck. I'd suggest doing a ROBHS, though, if you want to get better! ;)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
