Hey there! For this upcoming season, I am hoping to get my judging certification so I can judge girls compulsory. I'm not really sure where to start, though. I live in Arizona, and I can't seem to find the information I need on the USA Gymnastics webpage. Do any of y'all know what I should be doing?

Contact your state Judging Director (info available here: Link Removed).

You also want to spend a lot of time on the National Association for Women's Gymnastics Judges website. There is a lot more info there than on USAG's site. NAWGJ / THE NEXT GENERATION

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I'm rated as a compulsory judge and an optional judge through level 9 and will be taking my level 10 test this summer.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
