When an archer is shooting for nothing
he has all his skill
when he shoots for a brass buckle
he is already nervous
When he shoots for a prize of gold
He goes blind
See's two targets
He is out of his mind

His skill has not changed but the prize
Divides him. He cares.
He thinks more of winning
Than of shooting
and the need to win
Drains him of his power

I just think that it is a nice poem and I think i can really apply it to my gymnastics

Oh! I really do like this. It definitely helps remind me why I need to focus on me before others...y'know, remove the competitive aspect.
