We recently moved to Dallas, specifically in the suburb of Plano. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good gym? We visited WOGA today, but they do not have any open slots. :( We are Level 4, hoping to move to Level 5 soon.

Texas Dreams is outstanding and I think they're in that area. Link Removed

New gym in Addison

We live in the Plano area and go to a gym called Individual Sports Solutions in Addison. It is near the Galleria right off the Tollway and 635. They are in the process of building their program and your kiddo would have loads of individual attention. The head coach has over 30 years of experience and both coaches are amazing and patient. The team has done very well at both compulsory and optional meets. The owner is a Sports Medicine physician with her offices in the gym and this means that we have immediate on-site medical care. They also have an accredited school at the gym that goes from elementary through high school.

Thanks. Love the idea of individualized attention. My daughter struggles with bars so her coach at the last gym we were at dismissed her as a serious competitor and suggested we drop USAG and do TAAF. Broke my heart because my daughter loves it so much and she is great at the other 3 events.

There are many to chose from in this area. Most are great gyms. We go to Zenith Elite in Mckinney and live in Murphy. My DD is USAG. But in Plano you have a great choice. There is Champion Elite and Infinate Bounds in Plano. In Allen you have Metroplex and Eagles Wings. All have great coaches. Their gyms all do well in competitions. You best bet would be to go look at them and see where your daughter would fit best. We have friends at Eagles Wings and Metroplex as well as WOGA. Most also have TAFF and USAG leagues. Hope this helps. If you would like anymore info please email me!! And welcome to the Plano Area
