Parents L6 weeding out?

Saw the tough L6 scores on bars in today's meet. Dd scored 7.55 with a fall (on her squat-on) and still placed 5th. She had a higher score than some girls that didn't fall off.

Saw the tough L6 scores on bars in today's meet. Dd scored 7.55 with a fall (on her squat-on) and still placed 5th. She had a higher score than some girls that didn't fall off.

Yep...totally happens all the time at DDs meets... My DD is often out scored by girls who fall because the girls who are falling typically have a more powerful first half and then it's harder for them to control the squat on (and that's why they fall). The best bar girl on her team has fallen more than anyone ...she still gets higher scores than those who don't.
