Our gym hosted the level 4 state meet this past June. We had t-shirts printed with date and level 4 championship info. Unfortunately, we have a lot left. Does anyone have suggestions as to what to do with them? Is there a company that will recycle them? I hate to see them take up space.

Im sure a charity would take them. j

What about offering them out to kids who bought/ got them in the first place. Like a sort of swap in - bring your (now) old and probably stained (lol) State tee and get a new one. The old ones could then be recycled to a rag firm or given to an animal charity for bedding and the kids get a new tee which they are likely to wear and advertise your meet. You could send a jazzy email out to all the clubs that came with a date and time saying 'drop in for a swap in' or something.

Many churches and organizations participate in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox program run by Samaritan's Purse. I don't know if they would take shirts like that but it doesn't hurt to ask.

We set up a table and sold them for 5 dollars. Many of the rec kids bought them and thought it was cool to have something like the team kids. At first I didn't think anyone would want them, but they did go pretty fast, especially at a low price.
What ever was still left over, we kept to use as smocks during arts and crafts at our camps and babysitting nights.

I have taken old t-shirts and converted them to pillows in the past. Maybe the team girls would like to purchase another to make a pillow out of for their bed! They turn out really cute and my DD loves them!
