our gym is hosting the level 3 and 4 state meet for indiana this year and we recently had a meeting with our state representative about how to host this meet. she told us that level 3's were not required to qualify for state. so what is going on? we are totally confused by this because we have had level 3 for about 4 years now and we always believed that they had to qualify like all the other levels after. does anyone know anything about this?

It's in the state rules & policies: Link Removed

In Indiana, L3s only have to compete one meet to compete at state.

yes. just compete. wait a couple of years for the system to dilute more. there will be so many 3's that they will have to implement a qualifying score.

thanks. we didnt know who was actually qualified for this meet because we had just been informed of this around a month ago. when we first started a level 3 team at our gym, we were told that level 3's had to make state just like the other levels. i guess we were wrong...
