This is mine:
-Coffee
-Competition order written for each event
-Extra competition leotards in a few sizes
-Extra matching scrunchies
-Extra leggings (we wear them for warmup and awards)
-Athletic tape
-Tape grips

Maybe if I learn to do meet hair someday I'll bring some hair supplies... I currently am placing this responsibility on the parents.

  • triple check session days and time the Thursday leading up to a meet weekend
  • triple check that the information shared with parents is accurate
  • triple check that you have access to everyone’s floor music (and have a backup plan in the event of technical issues)
  • plan on arriving 1 hour before your scheduled start time; check weather and traffic conditions if you are driving
  • pack everything the night before
  • pack an extra sweater…you do not want to be cold when working a competition
  • hygiene necessities for staying fresh over a long and stressful day (extra socks, underwear, deodorant, dry shampoo, etc.)
  • pain relief medicine to manage aches and pains over a long day
  • phone charger
Don’t forget to log your meet expenses so that you can get reimbursed!

I know i’m late, but i make sure to have
  • all kinds of tape (KT tape, coban, prewrap, and plain athletic tape)
  • Pop ice packs (meet medics don’t always have them)
  • Snacks for the girls that will give them energy quick (usually protein bars)
  • all kinds of hair stuff (mini brush, bobby pins, clear plastic hair elastics, normal size hair ties, hairspray)
  • Hygiene products (floss, pre-toothpasted toothbrushes, spray deodorant, etc)
  • pads and tampons
  • bandaids
  • list of order and events
  • notebook to keep up with scores
  • both phone charger types and a phone adapter for music just in case
  • extra wrist bands
  • I keep crutches and braces in my car but those are mainly for me since i’m clumsy (they have come in handy though)
  • water bottle
  • pain meds (ibuprofen, excedrin, tylenol, and midol)
  • Also a jacket
