My daughter’s team was once in a rotation with one other girl who had no teammates in the session. They adopted her as part of their team, chatted with her during downtime, and cheered enthusiastically for her. It was the cutest thing.
This is what another team did for my daughter when she was rotating alone at state meet this year. It is such a lovely and happy memory for us!

I’m proud of myself. When the family of idiots walked right into my recording of the best floor routine my kid has done in years this past meet I didn’t curse. So there is just a loud cranky EXCUSE Me with their heads in the middle of her floor routine.

And yes I standby idiots. If you are at a L8 meet you should know folks record and check before moving. These were not newbies

Our kids will practice with other gymmies being as distracting as possible. The also periodically practice with the wrong music for their floor or the coach will stop the music. So they are prepared to deal.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
