hi,
i just became a level 6 gymnast. i already have most of my skills and i am going to a gymnastics camp for 3 weeks this summer. i really want to go level 7/qualify state this year(at my gym if you qualify for state u move up). i was wondering what the chances of that happening are.
thanxs!!!

if you're a good level 6 there really isn't much difference in level 7. Back hand spring on beam / giants / layout on floor / layout on bars etc. In our program when I child moves to level 5 they starting working their giants every practice on strap bar and other basic level 7 skills with the goal of skipping level 6 and going directly to 7.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
