Well I guess you can take the girl outta the gym, but...lol.

We were waiting (in a parking lot) the other night for the Labor Day fireworks to start, and Kadee wants to "practice" her gymnastics.
Well of course i tell her NO..she is on asphalt and will break her skull open. LOL
So she sticks to doing the splits. She can go all the way down, BUT i cant time a picture to save my life. Im gonna have to get her to do them in the house sometime and stay there till i get the picture right.LOL
She had all these people watching her, she was the entertainment until the fireworks started. She did a few cart wheels and round offs before i made her stop, because she was getting a little to big for her britches with all the attention. She wanted to do her BHS (which she has to have a light spot on). Thats when Momma said NO more.
I guess its a sign that she really does love what shes doing when she uses it as something to pass her time when she is bored. Im only 33 but i think ive sprouted a few grey hairs since she started all this.
And by the way, thats not our car she is in front of..i am the typical "sport" mom and drive a mini van. LOL. If i had realized before the picture how dirty that car was i probably would have made her move. Does that make me a bad person?.LMBO

My dd's the same way. Even when we're at amusement parks, she'll do pull-overs on the railings! When we were in Disney she did beam routines on a short wall. I put a stop that that real quick! ;)

She's adorable!! So glad she loves what she's doing! I was always like that, too. Always running around and doing cartwheels and handstands against the wall down the hallway. My mom had to tell me to stop because I got the walls dirty with my feet :P I hope your dd keeps doing what she loves!!

I'm so glad that others can relate. My daughter, and I do love her so, but I swear sometimes I want to glue her feet to the floor. Everywhere we go it's handstand, round off, handstand, bridge, kickover, cartwheel, jump jump, etc. I feel like I'm constantly telling her to stop! LOL

She also plays U8 soccer and on the field today in the middle of the game I see her doing handstands and roundoffs while others are fielding the ball. This also happens in the grocery, in the living room, kitchen (causing mom to lay down the law about gymnastics by the stove).... and god forbid there be a bar anywhere. Then we have to do pullovers and pull ups and leg lifts and if possible, stride circles and back hip circles.

It's enough to drive a lady insane!
