No a stuck landing doesn't change deductions earlier in the routine. And there was a 9.7 earlier on bars in the competition. Cheese and rice.

Bars scoring was WAY off. Saw a 9.5 with total leg separations all over the place, not hitting handstands, etc. Then really clean routines scoring just 9.3s

For those who want to watch it, youtube has it on the usa gymnastics channel in its entirety. The individual routines seem to be about 50% uploaded.

I started after the first rotation. Commentary was horrible. How many bazillion times did they need to remind us Nastia won AA in 08? There were also lots of commercials and the same ones over and over.

The gymnastics was great. Kai was wonderful, and so were most of the routines I saw.

Bev Plocki at Michigan has to be giddy watching her recruits at this meet tonight....Michigan generally has a small team but from what I saw tonight in their recruits Heiskell, Wojcik and Wilson, they will continue to be mighty.

I really liked watching Wojcik. She looked so happy and almost had a ballerina look. Hope she does really well at Michigan.

I still wish they would have shown more routines.

Based on the commentary one would think that the only thing that mattered on bars was hitting handstand. And the most important part of vault was sticking the landing.
