Well, he did it! He is heading to nationals! It was a rough meet, but he pulled thru and made it. We think he made the JO team for our region too, but we are waiting for confirmation on that. His JO career is not over yet

Woooohooooo! Congrats to your son! Regionals is this coming weekend for us (R5) and my son is nervous. I don’t think he’d make nationals, but it is covid and crazier things have happened. Keep us posted on your gymnast!

My son had regionals on Sunday. He did not advance to nationals. Of course he’s bummed, but he isn’t destroyed by it (thankfully). He has 2 more years mandatory as a level 9 since he’s still just 12....he has time to further perfect his skills and score high enough to make it (hopefully).
