Yes some very brave men have come forwards and waived anonymity to speak out openly on telly. Must have been very difficult. I am so glad they have. I am sure it will help younger men come forwards too.

We have had many many issues opened up about abuse relating to public figures over here. At one time a few years ago it seemed every week a new famous figure was named. It is a terrible terrible thing that this sort of abuse is so widespread and so many young people have suffered.

Terribly sad how people have taken advantage of the innocent whilst in positions of authority. Sadly I know quite a few people who were abused as children by people who they trusted. I guess it has always happened, nauseating.

I think a lot of these historical cases are now coming out with improvements in child protection laws and changes in evidence procedures. I am hopeful that the systems now in place will mean less of a problem going forward and that is the most important thing

So awful. My 8 and 9 yo daughters have both been there for TOPS. Wondering if I should let them go back.
