WAG Not letting go of the bar

I am in level 7 and I have trouble letting go for a cast flyaway. In level 4 I had one but forgot how to do it. It all started when I hit my toes trying one for the first time in years. Ever since then for months I have not been letting go in fear of hitting my toes. I can do it from one tap swing. I have a pit bar and even there I cannot let go even to my back. My meet scores are reflecting this problem. I feel like a cast flyaway is too fast and I don’t know how or when to let go. I want to do it but every time I try to go for it I give up before the cast. If anyone has tips on letting go or drills that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I’ll try but last time I didn’t go for it. Thank you for the advice.
I think if your fear is hitting your feet on the bar, then flatbacks shouldn't really be a problem because you don't flip. So definitely do reps to figure out where to let go without pulling in. Also ask your coach to watch and let you know if you're letting go at the right time.
