Off Topic Numb fingertips...median nerve?

Does anyone have any experience with a gymnast that has numb fingertips in three fingers...not the little finger. She is also having issues feeling hot and cold.

She just started in our team program about 2 weeks ago. She will see a specialist in a couple of days.

I have Raynaud's and it is a bit like this, but I didn't get it until mid 30s. Best of luck to her!

I have nerve issues from carpal tunnel syndrome, numbness in those fingers is definitely a symptom for me. Glad she is seeing a specialist soon.

I have had issues with numb "tingling" feelings in my hand that are associated with migraines. I hope it's nothing serious.

When I was doing T&T my hands would tingle when I did, like, a billion backhandsprings. I'm prone to ganglion cysts. I have a gymnast with a near identical issue, down to the cysts. We're both hypermobile.

I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about though. Hot & cold never came up.

My dd just diagnosed w carpal tunnel.
Those symptoms and pain from wrist to elbow with some swelling as well as pain with handstand and levers.
Physio helped and ice /heat and REST now waiting next steps!

It's "gymnasts wrist"...growth plate issue that is causing swelling around the nerve.
