Ok how do you do this

How do you put a photo in the thread. I've tried and tried and everytime no matter how I seem to do it I get an error message. Steps for Dummies please.

I did this by uploading a file to photobucket, then copying the "direct Link" (Photobucket gives you all the codes you ever need) Then I cam on here and clicked the icon which looks like a picture in a frame, clicked the "From URL" Tab then entered the URL I had copied.

I had no luck with the "from computer" tab!

ok I've been trying the "from Computer" tab. I'll have to try the "direct Link" way.
