Women Osgood-Schlatter Disease?

I recently went to the doctor for a lump right by my Achilles tendon. He thought it could be related to osgood-schlatter disease. We are going to try physical therepy. Does anyone have tips for Achilles pain and/or related issues?

Also, because it is a tendon, if the problem is with the Achilles' tendon you may find heat on your calves helps more than ice

Your Achilles is at the back of your ankle. Osgood-schlatters is on the lower part of your knee.
