private message notification

I got a private message a couple of days ago. I have read it, and have accessed it in every way possible so that the site KNOWS that I have read it, yet every time I go to a new page, I get a reminder popping up in the bottom right hand side of my screen telling me that I got a private message. It's getting annoying. How can I make it stop?

Me too!! And what's more I've had another 20+ PMs since then - including several from the same sender - and I still get that one odd reminder about that one long-delated PM.
PS: Is there any way we can increase the number of PMs we can keep? 50 isn't many and it's frustrating for people whose PM bounces when your box is too full. I do try to cull frequently, but there's a few that are just so useful I refer back often.

We get to keep 100 PM's once we become CB Boosters!
Hopefully they can figure out the PM alert though... annoying!

The bottom notifications should be turned off...let me know if there are any other problems.
