I am an adult gymnast trying to learn back handspring for the first time. My main problem with the skill seems to be the arm swing which is way to slow according to my coach. I have been trying to focus on that but I don't see any improvement. My swing start fast but then it seems to slow down in the middle of the skill.
Is there any specific drill or conditioning I could do to improve my arm swing?
