Try looking at something in front of you that's higher than your head. You can also do bunny hops (consistent straight jumps ) and practice pushing off with your toes. If you start running, then you just have to punch with your toes and tuck, you will go forward no matter what since you have a running start.

these screenshots are taken right as you both are leaving the ground. (the 2nd one makes it easily)

you should stand up taller on the hurdle, throw the tuck up and around - but mostly focus on extending through the ground.. really punching the airtrak. you're missing your bounce timing on this try.

back tuck needs to extend more fully through your legs and hips - harder arm swing couldn't hurt. also there's a little double bounce thing going on that makes you lose contact with the ground - probably taking some of your power.

Aside from your double bounce at the start of your back tuck, this is a pretty good takeoff position. If you started tucking here, you would have a good chance of making your back tuck.

You're getting yourself into trouble at the top of your flip because instead of bringing your knees to your chest, you continue flipping in an arched position. The more arched you are, the harder it is to pull your knees to your chest to complete the flip.

My recommendation is practicing the first half of the flip onto a tall mat stack. Landing on your back on the mats will prevent you from arching.

Also, you need to do a kajillion sit-ups and tuck-up. Back tucks take a ridiculous amount of ab strength because you need to move from a stretched laid out position to a tight tuck in like a millisecond. The faster you can move between those two positions, the faster you can rotate...and that just takes good-old-fashioned strength.

Keep up the good work!
