Parents Question about Rolling Thunder Meet - Las Vegas

Has anyone here ever been to one of the Rolling Thunder Meets? We just got our meet schedule, and we are attending the Rolling Thunder Meet in Las Vegas. I was just curious about the meet and or Venue.

If not the meet, does anyone know anything about the Riveria hotel & casino (meet venue)? I have never been to Las Vegas, so any advice on where to stay close to the meet.

Rolling Thunder (Vegas) is on the same weekend and in the same facility (different hall) as Men's Blackjack...

We are not going to the Rolling Thunder in Vegas but we are going to be at the one in Lake of the Ozarks
