Hi everyone,
A few years ago, one of my friends had a long-sleeved leotard that she didn't like, so she removed the sleeves and sewed the raw edges under, and she had a beautiful short sleeved leo.
I currently have lots of long sleeved leos and not enough short sleeved ones. I have one in mind that I might like to try removing the sleeves from. Unfortunately, for this particular leotard, it's not as simple as just unstitching the joint between the body and the sleeves, because the joint is a bit high on the underarms, and a bit too far down the shoulders.
I have done a lot of sewing with a machine and hand stitching, but never much on stretch fabric. Would it be best to use a zig-zag stitch to allow the fabric to still stretch?
If anyone has done this before and could provide me with instructions or even just some little tips, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thankyou in advance.
🤶🎄Merry Christmas!🎄🎅

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
