Ok, I work at a small city gym with no pits and I have talked to my older dd's gym about using their pits once a week. The owner sounds quite supportive but my boss, the parks manager, is a little cautious. What is a good price for us to pay for pit rental. We would be heading over there with the older girls once a week for about 3 hours with about 11 girls to mostly do bars and floor. We are a city gym and currently do not go past modified optionals. Also, he has expressed concern with regard to llb insurance. I am sure the wavier we have all athletes sign is just fine. Do we need to have them sign an additional waiver?

Whatever gym they are going to definitely needs to have them sign a waiver! If you are bringing them there (group transportation) parents should fill out a field trip type waiver as well. Then again before using the other facility, they need to fill out the waiver for THAT facility.

$10-$15 per kid. the kids from the city gym must sign the waiver for the gym with pits. the owner of the gym with the pits may also want to be provided a certificate of insurance from the city program naming the pit gym as "additionally insured". if the trips are going to be frequent and consistent i would recommend this.:)

Well, we agreed to $10 a kid with a 10 kid min. We had all gymnasts sign the host gym waiver. The host gym signed the city waiver, and the city manager signed the host gym waiver.(LOL) Our first workout was great. We will be doing this twice a month so, I think it will be great for the girls.
