What is it called when an optional gymnast mounts on the high bar with a kip then immediately hops to switch grips before the cast hand to go into a front giant? What is the value and how do you teach this? Thanks

Do you mean a reverse grip kip (hands reversed before the kip) , or grip change during the cast? Not sure if the reverse grip kip is worth anything, but the cast hop was a B, (not sure about this years code).

Not during the kip, but directly after, like a hop.

Sure , the straight body cast or straddle? Also I need to take a few pics in the gym to better describe them.
