Thanks, Geoffrey! That is really interesting, and also quite confusing, as it is very different to what the coach at my gym has been teaching me. I like the way you focus on body shape, I think this is an important concept I missed when doing gym as a kid (when I thought gym was just about doing cool tricks!) I'm learning so much here!

I'd also like to thank you for your information about round-offs. My round-off is terribly weak and clunky, but it has improved somewhat already just by thinking more about the 'deep lunge' you mention, going deeper into the legs seems to give it a lot more power and I seem to fly through the air more instead of just going clunk.
