Hello Everyone! So I wen to the U of U vrs. The Georgia gym dogs and I was really dissapointed that Georgia lost! I live in Utah and my cousin says I have no state spirit because I hate all the teams in Utah. But the worst thing is I WAS NOT EVEN BORN IN UTAH!!! By the way, do any of those people out there know what u should wear to an 80's day? I am kind of confused! Also I am mad because Georgia has had a winning streak over Utah since 2005 or something like that. GEORGIA! I AM MAD MAD MAD!! :mad::mad: And Also this Irish girl she stepped out of bounds twice,(Twoce and WHY???) also she fell on her but on floor, (I personally thought she could stick it but..) and then she fell on beam. On her areial! Grrr! I am So So SO Mad! I am in total SHOCK!

I was at the meet and Georgia looked fine, especially for this early in the season. Both teams have some problems to work out, but have a few months to do so. I think it would be more bothersome if they were looking perfect at this point in the season.
Falls happen to everyone, including Georgia. The girl you are speaking of, Christa Tanella, is a freshman and probably just needs a little more meet experience to gain confidence. Especially in front of huge crowds like the bigger schools pull in. It's better that she gets the experience now and gets the falls out of the way rather than waiting until Nationals. She's a great gymnast who, despite the falls, showed some really beautiful gymnastics.
Georgia is adjusting to a new coaching system, the loss of some pretty influential seniors, and just lots of changes. It takes time to adjust. I don't think it's some kind of bad omen for the rest of their season, now they know what they need to work on and how to tweak their line ups for the coming weeks.
I was thrilled at the awesome gymnastics both teams demonstrated, despite the mistakes, and am excited to see what the rest of the season holds for both teams.
