I think 1 thing I have learned as a gym parent is to follow her lead. Sometimes I am anticipating the worst case when she doesn't have the outcome she had worked hard for, and she blows it off quickly. Kids are much more resilient than we give credit for at times!
So, all that to say, see how she reacts before you commit to a plan to cushion. It might only require a few tears and some ice cream!
 
She can test again at the end of this month, but she has to pass whatever this months test will be and she can't come to the TOPs class in the meantime. I don't know that I would push her to try. She has two more days of practice time, so we'll see how it goes!
That sort of makes no sense. If they need certain skills, then wouldn't it benefit them to actually be at the class?!
