Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you... Aly Raisman.Sure, those of you out there who are gymnastics aficionados have been aware of Raisman for a while. But the general public has been fed a steady diet of interviews with stars Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber, who were earlier anointed as the faces of Team USA.
However, it's Raisman who will join Douglas in the Olympic all-around finals. The 18-year-old Massachusetts native leads all individual gymnasts in all-around scoring after three subdivisions.

I feel so bad for Jordan but did you guys see Aly's reaction when she found out she made it to AA finals? That was really adorable. She obviously wasn't really expecting to make it to the AA.

Jordan might not qualify for anything at all. She looks absolutely gutted. Poor thing.

China had a rough time on floor...I liked Yao Jinnan trying to recover from her fall with a back extension! But it's still a fall. They have very interesting choreo...

Mustafina hit a really nice DTY on vault for a score in the low 15s. Thank goodness..

That's absolutely true. I hope she can pull it together for team finals and get past her disappointment. A team medal is no small accomplishment.
