Yeah! We had some success today. Not only did she go for a true front fly to feet attempt, instead of just a let go and get to her back in the pit, she also went for one with the cross over!

This may be it! The happy medium we are looking for... now where is some wood to knock on?

Thanks all who helped sort this out some.

We are all fingers crossed. Many many children stop gymnastics because of problems with certain moves. We need to be more creative and flexible. I just realised we have a girl at our gym who does no BHS. Not on beam or floor or vault. She does other things like ariels on beam and handspring front twisting on floor. She does a handspring front vault. Let us know what her bar routine ends up as. I was surprised how many suggestions there were.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
