So DS is having wrist arthroscopic surgery next week. They said 30 to 45 minutes under local anethesia. I am so nervous!!!

It is the last hope for him to be able to continue gymnastics.

I pray it works! DS only wants to be in the gym, but until he is better, he is not going....we all agreed that he must be better or else it is just frustration and pain....7 months is long enough.

Sorry to hear! Best wishes for a full recovery.

All good thoughts! Is it one of those things where you'll know if it worked right after, or will he have to heal, rehab, and start working out again first?

Not sure what the surgery was for but usually PT is part of the equation

Yes, PT is definitly part of it.....That, from what I have heard is the worst part of it....
2 weeks in a cast, then PT....
I PRAY IT FIXES HIS WRIST!!!!

All done!!!!! He did great! Very brave.

A solid month in a cast, and then hopefully he will be back in the gym.

We have no expectation for the upcoming competitive season, other than him being able to get back into the swing of things. Pun intended.

Glad to here it went well! Sending CB hugs and healing fairies.

Fingers crossed! Glad he got through the surgery OK.
