My ds is heading to competition in USA next week and he is competing level 8. He is wondering if he can do stag leap out of his two tumbeling passes. He thinks he can only do it once. He is super exited and can't wait for tomorrow to ask his coach lol

A stag leap after a landing can be repeated. Although he cannot rebound into a stag leap. He must show a controlled landing first. The rules for transitions at L8 are the same as FIG.

Thank you for reply. Do you know what deductions will be if he rebounds to leap? How different it is from taking a step on landing.

Rebounding into a transition would be deducted the same as a bounce on a landing. .1,.3, or .5 depending on the severity. An acceptable transition would be a bounce to prone fall as that would be counted as an "A" skill. However you are only allowed to do that once per routine.
