I have my kip, pretty consistent at this point. I also have my high bar and compete both. I fractured my finger along with chipping a bone in it, as well as pulling/tearing some ligaments and tendons in my hand. I was out for a while-2 months not on bars. Actually, that was my doctors request-I did bars without circling movements (casts, squat ons) about a month and a half later. I am struggling with straight arms and a big cast... I can only get a little cast out of it.
Any suggestions for straight arms? Tips for casting out of a kip?
I am a bit taller so its a bit harder for me as well.
And while were on the topic-what are some good grip brands?

It's very hard to do a straight arm kip with a big cast, because of body proportions. If you don't finish your kip with a pike, that will make it much harder to do a cast as well. I don't wear grips but my friends seem to all wear 10.0 grips.
