Hey Chalkbucket,
As some of you may know, the level 7 season just started, and I was going to compete at the very first meet of the season, but because of my missing flight skill on beam: my back-handspring I'm waiting until February. I was very close to having my back-handspring all by myself on the high beam, so I tried to do a back-handspring on a high beam with mats underneath, and I missed my hand and hurt my foot. This was 3 days before the New Year. Now, I just started getting it comfortable under a port-a-pit beam. What do I do? I'm really comfortable with back-handsprings on the low beam with panel mats on either side, and I can make nearly every time on the port-a-pit beam, but every time I get to that high beam I freak out and fall. I want to get my backhandspring on the high beam ASAP so I can actually practice some real routines before I compete.
Please help me!
ANY advice is wanted!!!!
