I just recently got an air track, and I’ve been struggling with standing back handspring for the longest time. I have a round off-back handspring pretty consistently with good form, it’s just the standing one that gets me messed up. I need tips!! Please lmk what you think. I havebefore and after videos of my at home practice today. I’m pretty sure it’s obvious which one was my first one 😂 (also my elbow hurts when I do it, so if anyone has a clue why it would be appreciated if you told me) Before and after, standing backhandspring

You are letting your knees go forwards too much. When your knees throw forward too much... it destroys your height and flow and puts you in an awkward position. You then jam down on your hands and that is probably what is hurting your elbow.

I would recommend having a spotter to help you hit the right positions until you have it a bit better...
