J finally qualified compulsory!! But she ended up missing optional qualification by 0.9. Had 3 falls, 2 of which were pretty uncharacteristic. She ended up with a 12.7 on beam with a fall!!

I'm new at this level how do you get started with hopes/tops. Is there a chance of a gymnast being recognized without being in tops or hopes.
How do you deal with a gym when you express interest in those things but they are stuck on competing levels.

seems like some athletes were missing on these results- but I think the timing is great to see!
