YES- how many walk-ons a coach can support depends on the profile of the coach, the profile of the program, and the quality of the university in question.

Thanks! My kids are no where near starting to think about college so I think I just had this idea in my head that a walk-on is someone who doesn’t get any support from the coach in terms of admissions, but the coach lets them join the team if they get into the school on their own (for schools that are difficult to get into).
