US Secret Classic

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but can anyone explain the importance of the US Secret Clasic competition in the process of the Olympic team selection, and who would be expected to compete there?
DD and I are considering to go, but I don't want her to be disappointed if none of her favorite gymnasts are there.

US Classic is a qualifier to P & G Championships (Nationals) at the end of June. Most of the big name kids (Biles, Douglas, Raisman, etc) have already qualified to P & G Championships due to competing at the World Championships or another international meet. However, some of the big names do use the Classic competition as a warm-up meet going in to nationals. Just don't expect them all to be there or to compete all events
