should I use for the meet? I have 3 diff ones 7-210mm and 35-70 and 50

I have never shot my camera at a meet yet!
(well I did get some pics with my point and shoot at the performance they did last weekend at the Gophers meet they did)

any tips for getting good shots of her?

The 50 won't do it. The 50 is great for portraits of a single subject or a couple. Think-shooting babies. :) It isn't exactly about the lens so much as the fact you must shoot in manual mode. This way you can adjust things in order for the low light of the meets without using a flash and still catch the action. Sometime sports mode is good. Those are the only 2 we ever use. We tend to use the 200 VR and sometime the 300 VR. The vibration reduction feature helps a lot as well as a tripod. Hope this helps!

Thanks!

I usually have time to play before but this time I wont so I figured whod better to ask!

the tripod will be used for the video camera
I was planning on using the fast "film" well digital but you get it LOL

I also was not sure the lighting sit and I know that no flash can be used!

you did help a lot thanks

The biggest challenge that we hit is grainy pics because the light is low and we want the shutter speed up in order to catch the action without blurring. Also sometiems the gym is chalky so you get a haze. ;)
