What does "dd" mean/stand for?

I've seen lots of people say "dd" so I'm just wondering what that means.

it stands for darling daughter, i believe.

ds = darling son
dh = darling husband

When I first saw OP, I had guessed that it meant Over-the-top Parent or Obstinate Parent. Those actually fit for the first post that I noticed it used on. On subsequent post, I knew that I had the definition wrong so Googled it.

I can't bring myself to do it, and will absolutely not let either daughter do it.

At my daughter's school, in her language arts class, they were being taught online communcation talk. They were actually teaching the kids all the abbreviations and things when you text. I couldn't believe it when she told me that.

By the way (BTW), I thought DD was for Dear Daughter or DS Dear Son...I guess it can go either way
