its a metal bar that you use gloves and loops (basically bits of material in the shape of an O) to attach yourself to the bar and you practice things like giants and long kips and swings etc. you can't do releases or pirouettes with them though

its basicly a high bar like the boys use made of metal that has usually a pipe over the bar and you strap your self to it so you can't let go when you learn things like giants.

Here is a photo of one with leather straps to hold you on. The ones I have seen use this elastic type strap to hold you on.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
