It's a very exciting time at gym right now because they are all working on new level 5 stuff. Last week they began working on a bhs, bhs step out on floor. What is this for? I know it's not in the level 5 or level 6 routines, not as a combination at least. I've seen it on beam of course, but that's many levels/years away. Maybe it was just something to do for fun?
 
Probably, not exactly for "fun" but just to introduce it to work on both basic handsprings so they are strong in preparation for level 6 and 7, also to do something new and get stronger.
