Parents Why are all the insta gym moms introducing themselves?

many young insta gymnasts’ moms recently all posted pictures of themselves and their daughters, introduced themselves and declared that the account is 100 percent mom run. Some sounded scared that their account would be taken down. What is behind it?

I would assume that it's to let viewers know that the account is fully run by an adult, not a 7 year old gymnast. Probably to prevent the account being reported.

Does it mean there is a trend to report them? It is so obvious that 7 yos can’t create content like that…

I know there is a pretty large movement to protect child influencers. Did you watch the documentary about child actors and the abuse at Nickelodeon studios? The world of child influencers is much like Hollywood was in those years. The industry grows faster than the laws can keep up. Maybe Instagram is actually listening to the push to protect child influencers and buckling down on accounts focused on children.

My daughter has an insta, controlled by me, we have seen that most accounts are doing this, because Instagram is deleting any accounts, they see that don't look like they are run by a parent.

Under age 13 can't have an account. Also it may cut down on predators direct messaging the account.

I just assumed it was more along the lines of those old viral fb posts designed to get people to potentially disclose information/gullibility for future spamming or hacking.
