Worlds Women's Qualification (Spoiler Alert)

Sounds like the ladies from the US had a heck of a day today. It is hard to visualize it from the twitter hits, but the 20 for 20 is just awesome with the hits this team has taken. The bars scores seemed great for them capped off by little Gabby with a wonderful 14.866!! Sounds like top to bottom they had a great day and Wieber seems poised to bring home an AA medal.

Did anyone see any video of the Chinese? I saw He Kexin's score and nearly fell out of my chair... just wondering what happened.

CHIna really had a terrible competition, lots of falls and mistakes where they do not have them. Of course in team finals that could all be fixed. Team USA did a wonderful job with every routine hit, that also could change in team finals. If every medal had been decided on the qualification round the USA would have done very well.

But this morning now the other big guns have competed it is interesting to see that the USA girls are still way up there.

Victoria Komova of Russia and JOrdyn Weiber will be duking it out for the AA title, with ALy Raisman right on their heels. WIll be an awesome comp.
