WAG Hitting the bottom of an above ground pit... Bone bruise...

How is she? Did you talk to the people Dunno suggested? I've been thinking about her (and you) ever since I read this early this morning.

    Parents New Compulsories

Me too!! My DD has most of her level 3 and several level 4 skills and her coach said that they're thinking about having her compete level 4, but they won't decide until later this summer (officially). I am dying to see level 3. I think, since she just started gymnastics last year (rec) and...

    WAG Level 3 videos?

Have there been any leaked videos for level 3? Floor, beam, bars, etc?

Gymnast or Coach or Parent ???

Proud Parent! :) And, like Cbifoja, I am so incredibly thankful for the respect, appreciation, and open/friendly relationship that I share with my DD's coach! (I'm so lucky that her coach is moving from her rec class coach to HC of team with DD...since DD's moving from her first year in rec...

Parents How long after a tonsillectomy...

The first week she'll feel too bad to want to practice. The next week she'll still be recovering. Personally, if it were my 4 year old (said as I'm looking at her while writing this), I'd keep her out AT LEAST as long as recommended. She's only 4. It's not as if she's going to fall behind...

That's exactly what Jenny posted earlier in this thread - that they're a bit see though.

    My two kids and I

Welcome to CB! I'm new too...to both the board and to gymnastics (my DD started rec class this year and just made team this past month). I'm finding this board to be an invaluable source of knowledge and entertainment. I've learned a TON...and had quite a few laughs as well. ;) I look...

    Parents Sore muscles?

Great...my 6 year old DD will be going from 1 hour/week (rec class) to 9 hours/week (team) starting in a week. Guess I need to stock up on Epsom salt! Do they at least make scented Epsom salt? ;) (Luckily all the swimming she does in our pool over the summer will stimulate blood flow and...

WAG Hw to calculate caloric needs for younger gymnasts

Toootsie - my 6 year, 3 month old daughter is 48 inches (4 ft) tall and is 56 pounds. She's solid muscle though. It's crazy her muscle tone and definition. I'm jealous. A ton of time in the gym and I've never achieved that definition. *sigh* So you're not alone. :)
