Thanks for everyone's replies. I'm an ex gymnast myself so I know the benefits of gymnastics. That's not what I meant. I was simply asking the question in terms of competitions ect. I wondered where NDP leads them as it is different to when I trained. I'm surprised by some replies. Gymnastics...
Hi. My daughter is 7 and in NDP Level 2. Our gym only offers club or national. Is there any future in the national stream? What will my daughter acheive besides strength and flexibility. She trains hard and it's expensive. I guess I just don't know where it goes from here.
Thanks

We only have one gym and the next one is 600km away. Not many options I know! Thanks for replying. If everyone else seems to be doing more hours I might try mentioning it to the head coach.

Thanks for everyone's replies. It's different for us as they compete in levels 1 and 2 here. The hours are still less then everyone else seems to train though. Not sure if I should talk to the coach about it or not? I don't want to be pushy but having a gymnastics background I remember training...
Can anyone tell me roughly how many hours per week a gymnast should train? Levels 1 through to 6. My daughters gym doesn't seem to do many hours so was wondering what other gyms do. Thanks
