    Coaches competition leotard brands

My gym is switching to spektrum for our comp leotards this year. I've only had spektrum practice leotards, so I dont have any opinions on the comp ones yet. (I get sized for it in a couple weeks, but their regular cuts are a bit higher, so if you have a longer torso, you need to get the long sizes)

Second this! My (ozone) high school leotard is WAY smaller than my comp one (GK for comp).

Gymnasts 2 Pass Level 8 Floor

That would get a 10.0 sv, just a 0.1 difficulty deduction for missing a salto

    Gymnasts Front Toss struggles

The girls at my gym who have worked front tosses (I have tried front tucks on a line a few times, but never moved it up) worked them on a line in the pit first. Once they could do it in the pit (landing upright), they would move it onto a floor line. Think about it as a regular front tuck on...

    Women Opinions on floor music?

Our gym caps all Xcel floor music at 1 minute, and there was not other clean cut that was under 1 minute. The original beginning was smoother and had more of a build up, but it had the vocals

    Women Opinions on floor music?

Hello, I am getting a new floor routine this season, and have sent in and got my top two floor musics approved out of the 4 I sent. The first one was fine, but the second one needed to be edited to fit for time and vocals in the beginning. I got the redited version back, and I was wondering...

    Women Cartwheels in running tumbling???

Hello, I am an Xcel Platinum gymnastics training Xcel Diamond. I have a mental block on doing a connecting my roundoff to a bhs on floor (despite having it perfectly fine for 6 years...) I am looking for passes to work on for diamond, and I was wondering if a Front tuck step out, cartwheel...

    Off Topic Twisting too early

(Not a back twister, but this is what I learnt from front twisting + what I've heard from other girls learning back twisting). You have to wait a second, so you can rise to have enough height when you twist. What helps me to say a word in my head to remember to wait before twisting. For...

Gymnasts What level should I be in?

You actually have platinum routines on everything except bars. You would need to work on kip, clear hips, and flyaways for platinum. However, you would still need to score out of gold before even moving up to platinum, so you would have to complete at least 1 meet of gold and get the qualifying...

On each event or at the entire practice???

    Parents Team sizes

It really depends on the size of the gym and how many people are in a practice group

Women How easy is it to transition into A&T or Stunt?

Hello, I am looking a bit into A&T/Stunt for something to do in college after graduating high school. Since gymnasts tumble on a spring floor bare foot, and A&T is on dead mat with shoes, I was wondering how easy/hard is it to transition into the sport (I have only ever done gymnastics in terms...

Coaches Getting into coachint and advice for beginner coaches

I applied to coach at my gym last March, started training in June, and became an official coach in September. Due to my age when I started training, I was not allowed to spot, so I learned most of my spotting from either asking some of the other coaches or looking up tutorials on YouTube. For...

Women Cast handstand flyaway and bad back layout

For layout, think about going up first before going back. It helps to look at a spot on a wall to spot for help yourself not whip back
