Nickelodeon has done this before. Part of me thinks it's just ignorance, but at the same time, how does someone make that mistake? I really thought it was common knowledge that cheer leading and gymnastics are different. It frustrates me that people keep making this mistake. After all, no tv...
I was reading the thread in the parent forum about team expenses and it really opened my eyes to how much my parents pay for me to do gymnastics. I really really want to help pay for it, but I'm only 14 and our gym isn't exactly around the corner, so working there isn't an option. What else can...
You're probably bringing one of your arms slightly ahead of the other in your round off which is why it's crooked, I do the same thing. So really focus on moving both your arms together.

A friend of mine might have to go from competitive gymnastics back to rec classes. Has anyone else experienced this or know someone who has? What was it like going from several hours a week to an hour or so once a week?

Glad to hear you're back to training! :) may I ask what happened to your back? If you don't want to elaborate that's fine too.

I was practicing tucks on an octagon spotter and I guess I jumped a little crooked because next thing I knew I was on the ground with the octagon sideways on top of me! I was fine though, it didn't hurt at all ;)

My coach had me lean forward on the bar as if I got stuck after a back hip circle, then had me practice the shifting motion by bringing myself up to front support
