As we have noticed a growing Canadian membership we have decided to add a dedicated Canadian WAG forum. Grouping the country specific posts together will make it easier to connect and share about WAG.
DD is going to our Western Canadian championships in a couple of weeks.
As we are from a small province we only have 4 girls in her category so there are never any team events at meets.
She asked me to see if they will be able to compete as a team as there is only 4 girls and other provinces...
I'm sure many of you have already seen this, but for those who haven't here's the website for the competition - including info on volunteering, buying tickets, and the preliminary schedule! Anyone else ridiculously excited for this? I'm going to be able to go to nearly 3 full days of...
So proud of my little 10 year old gymnast....she had a lot going on - she moved clubs this year and learned a ton of new skills to bring her from level 7 to Pre-National Novice.
With all the changes she managed to make Eastern Championships in Newfoundland
Her utube video is attached...
Some of you might remember that about 8ish months ago I posted a thred about a possible move to Canada and how gymnastics would differ.

Pre-National Novice is also there...

Gym Score Depot has it as the weekend of May 10th in Newfoundland, and OGF's calendar has it May 3rd in PEI.

Thanks.
Anyone here is familiar with men's gymnastics in BC, Canada? A family friend is relocating there and is looking for a good competitive men's program in british columbia, canada. A few names came up....Richmond, Marble, Phoenix? Anyone knows anything about any of them? any other recommendations?
Does anyone have a copy of the 2013 CPP? I need to know requirements and such before competition season!
My gym hasn't recieved it yet- they don't even have the 2012 verision.
Thanks in advance.
We are in the US and my dds are level 10 and 7. My husband is from Canada and has recently gotten a good job offer/opportunity. Thing is, there is a very real chance we will be relocating to Canada. Nothing is certain yet but I would still like to know.
How does Canadian gymnastics differ...
We had our general meeting yesterday to review the training days and what meets are on the agenda for our girls in the National program.
There are a few girls who competed Pre-Novice last year and now have to move up to Novice this year because of age. It was mentioned that they may have to...
I have a question for those Canadian coaches out there who have experience with the pre novice aspire/elite program. What do you do with those kids who are short on skills for the elite group but are too advanced for the aspire group? I have one who competed Aspire last year but isn't ready for...
Just so I don't hijack another post....
