How do gyms decide what level a child is allowed to compete? is it by age or skill level? Or does the child have to compete through all of the compulsory levels? Can a gymnast advance through more than one level per season? I'm just wondering. Primarily because I have a gymnast...very...

Just wondering my daughter is repeating level 4 along with another teammate this year. She is happy with this for now, And I think this will give her more confidence but she trains with the level 5 and 6 and is doing more hours than the new level 4s. When she does the vault they do not do...
